Simon Cowell Reportedly Set To Bring Back X Factor After 5 Years Of Inactiveness

Five years after its last broadcast, Simon Cowell is apparently bringing back The X Factor.

Despite being a success, ITV canceled the annual talent show in July 2021. The X Factor saw stars like Robbie Williams, Cheryl, Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, and Louis Walsh joining the judging panel in a rotational order.

The X Factor at its peak featured some legendary performances by Beyonce and Alexandra Burke, the formation of One Direction and many more.

According to a report by the Mirror, the singing contest will be coming back in 2023 as organizers have deemed it the right time for a comeback.

“It has been decided that the time is right to bring X Factor back. It’s really exciting. Everyone who will be working on the new series can’t wait to get started,” a source revealed to the Mirror.

It was also revealed that Simon is currently in talks with bosses of various TV channels suggesting that the show might not be aired on ITV on its return to the screens.
