Alexis Kerry Ohanian was born on 24 April in Brooklyn, New York.
He is an internet entrepreneur and investor from America. He is famous for being a co-founder and executive chairman of Reddit along with Steve Huffman and Aaron Swartz.
Initialized Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm was also co-founded by him. Ohanian started the social enterprise Breadpig and helped launch Hipmunk, a travel search website. He is also a partner at Y Combinator.
Ohanian earned commerce and history degrees from the University of Virginia. Alexis who was an excellent student was inducted into The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and was an active member of his chapter.
Ohanian and his friend Steve Huffman started Reddit right after college after the initial idea they had pitched with Y Combinator failed to impress the folks there.
He is married with a daughter and is based in Florida.
