Frances Tiafoe Jr. is an American professional tennis player. His highest world rankings by the Association of Tennis Professionals are No. 25 in men’s singles, on 2 May 2022.
Tiafoe won his first ATP title at the 2018 Delray Beach Open, becoming the youngest American man to win a tournament on the ATP Tour since Andy Roddick in 2002.

Franklin Tiafoe is the twin brother of star tennis player Francis Tiafoe. They two were born in the state of Maryland to Constant and Alphina Kamara who had emigrated from Sierra Leonne to the United States to escape the civil unrest.
Franklin along with his brother Frances was introduced to the game of tennis very early in his childhood because of the sports complex his father worked at. He frequently played with his brother during their spare time.
Franklin stayed in Maryland, where he played high school tennis at DeMatha Catholic High School and later played college tennis at Salisbury University, while his brother moved to the USTA National Training Center in Boca Raton, Florida.
