Ivan Dodig was born on 2 January 1985 in Međugorje, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia.
He is a Croatian professional tennis player who specializes in doubles.
The 2015 French win with Marcelo and the 2021 Australian Open win with Filip Polášek in the men’s doubles competitions are part of a collection of titles that make Ivan a six-time Grand Slam Champion.
Ivan has won the 2018 and 2019 French Opens and 2019 Wimble Champions, alongside Latisha Chan, and the 2022 Australian Open alongside Kristina Mladenovic in the mixed doubles.
On the ATP Tour, Ivan has won 16 doubles titles and attained his career-high doubles ranking of world number 4 in June 2015.
Dodig who turned professional in 2004, is currently being coached by Mladen Dodig. He plays a predominantly two-handed backhand.
He is a resident of Freeport, Bahamas.
