Antonio Ramiro Romo was born on 21 April 1980 in San Diego, California. He is a sports analyst and former American football player. He played as quarterback for Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League for 14 seasons.

Romo played collegiate football while at Eastern Illinois University, where in 2002 he won the Walter Payton Award. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003 and began his career with them as a backup then earned his way to becoming the primary starting from 2006 to 2015.

Romo was selected to the Little League All-Star team because of how good he was at baseball as a child.

Antonio’s broadcasting career began after he retired from football due to a back injury he sustained leading to him losing his starting position.
He was hired by CBS Sports to serve as the lead color analyst for the network’s NFL telecasts.
