Val Edward Kilmer was born on 31 December 1959 in Los Angeles, California. He is an American actor known for films like Top Gun (1986) and Willow (1988).
He was originally a stage actor. He was the youngest person at the time to be accepted into the Juilliard School’s Drama Division.
Kilmer and Kevin Spacey went to the same high school; Chatsworth High School.
Val has been nominated for several awards but won only the 2021 Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards.
He is no longer able to speak due to the damage to his vocal cords when he had a procedure on his trachea. He has since 2015 battled throat cancer.
