Born in Gold Coast, Australia on 11 January 1997, Cody Robert Simpson is a swimmer, singer, actor, and model.
Cody first appeared on television as an actor in 2014 when he made a cameo in Instant Mom. He also appeared as a guest on the American television show Cougar Town as Pete in 2015.
From November 2018 to April 2019, Cody played the lead in the Broadway musical Anastasia. He won the maiden edition of The Masked Singer Australia within the same period.
It is reported that in his younger years, Simpson was a very talented swimmer. He announced in 2019 that was part of the Trojan Swim Elite team of the University of Southern California.
He has his sight set on qualifying for the 2024 Summer Olympics and is training towards it.
The United Nations Development Program appointed him as its first advocate for oceans in June 2017.
