Bronte Campbell was born on 14 May 1994 in Blantyre, Malawi. She is an Australian competitive swimmer. She has won gold at both the Olympics and world championships. At the 2015 World Championships, Campbell won three gold medals, including the 50 and 100-meter freestyle.
Campbell has an older sister called Cate who is also a member of the swimming team f Australia and is the first sibling to ever compete in the same swimming event at the Olympics.
Campbell is a student at the Queensland University of Technology, where she is studying Business majoring in Public Relations. She is a member of the Commercial Swimming Club in Australia and is currently being coached by Simon Cusack
Campbell lives in Coorparoo, a suburb of Brisbane.
