Tulsi Gabbard was born on April 12, 1981, to Mike Gabbard and Carol Porter Gabbard in Leloaloa, American Samoa. She is a politician and a United States Army Reserve officer.
From 2013 to 2021, she served as the representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. She participated in the nomination of the presidential candidate for the 2020 United States presidential election.
In the history of the politics of the United States, Tulsi Gabbard was the first Hindu member of Congress as well as the first Samoan-American to vote in Congress.
