According to the legal documents TMZ received, La Dart maintains that there are too many similarities between what she shared over ten years ago and what Taylor released to disregard them. She asserts that her book was readily available and implies that Taylor and the company viewed it and then copied it virtually verbatim in an effort to pass it off as their own.
