Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has died in Russia at the age of 91.
Mikhail Gorbachev will be remembered for bringing the Cold War to a conclusion. He was the Soviet Union’s eighth and last leader.
From 1985 until 1991, he was also the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
Mikhail Gorbachev died on August 30, 2022, after a long illness. We are also waiting for his autopsy report from the authorities. He was 91 years old at the time.
