Ime Sunday Udoka was born on 9 August 1977 in Portland, Oregon.
He is a Nigerian-American professional basketball coach and former player.
Udoka is currently the suspended head coach for the Boston Celtics.
He attended Jefferson High School in Portland and graduated from Portland State University where he played basketball.
Udoka signed for Fargo-Moorhead Beez as an undrafted player in 2000.
He went on to dorn the jerseys of teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs.
He represented Nigeria at the national level.
He is the younger brother of former Women’s National Basketball Association star and head of the Nigerian Women’s Basketball team, Mfon Udoka.
Ime is currently in a relationship with American actress, Nia Long and they have a son called Kez Sunday Udoka.
He has a stepson called Massai Zhivago Dorsey.
