Born into a competitive athletic family in Truro, Cornwall, England, Helen Glover is a British professional rower who is a member of the Great Britain Rowing Team.
Her mother was trained as a physiotherapist at the Guy’s Hospital while her father was a school teacher who later went running their family’s ice cream-selling business.
Glover has four siblings; two females and two males. Her twin brother is called Nathan Glover.
She was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2013 for services to rowing.
