Mohammed Kudus Named Man of the Match As Ghana Beat South Korea

Mohammed Kudus has been named Man of the Match after his outstanding performance against South Korea.

The 22-year-old Ajax and Ghanaian midfielder netted a brace as The Black Stars trashed South Korea 3-2, securing them their first win of the tournament.

In the first half, Kudus and Salisu gave Ghana a two lead after connecting to a Jordan Ayew cross before the Ajax star smashed home the winner following a pass from Gideon Mensah, which was first missed by Inaki Williams.

After the game, Kudus was adjudged player of the match, making him the first Black Stars player to receive the award in Qatar and also the first Ghana player to score a brace in FIFI World Cup.

The four-time African champions will next face two-time world champions Uruguay on Friday, December 2, at 3:00 pm with a place in the round of 16 at stake.
