Famous American actor, Jeremy Renner isn’t having the best of the new year after a snow plowing accident left him in a critical state.
The 51-year-old Marvel actor sustained injuries after a ‘weather-related accident’ while plowing snow during the weekend.
According to a report by Deadline, the Avengers actor was airlifted to a medical facility on Sunday after sustaining injuries. Confirming the reports, his reps assured the general public that he was receiving care and was in excellent shape.
“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today. His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”
The Reno Gazette-Journal has previously reported that Renner has a property close to Mt. Rose – Ski Tahoe, which was struck by a winter storm on New Year’s Eve. Local Nevada media stated that 35,000 residences in the Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey, and Lyon counties of Northern Nevada were without power as a result of the weather.
However, it is still unclear whether the Hollywood actor got injured at the said location or at a different home of his. The extent of his injuries is also blurry at the moment.
