It seems Daddy Lumba is going to have a mouthful this year as his former BFF has vowed to give him a tough time this year.
The duo had a couple of songs back in the day. However, their time together ended after a rift erupted over some GH₵340,000 which Daddy Lumba allegedly pocketed from an album launch.
Responding to Daddy Lumba’s recent release titled ‘Ofon nae di asem fo’ Ampong revealed that he was aware the song was directed to him as he was told to expect a diss song back in 2018.
“A young man came to me and told me that his boss is recording a diss song for me… He said Daddy Lumba was recording a diss song for me and Roland, my music producer.”
He hinted that he is ready to tango with Daddy Lumba adding that he will give him the beef of the year.
“He will hear from me very soon. He will definitely hear from me. This is going to be the beef of the year.”
He revealed that he was ready to let bygones be bygones after heeding to his mother’s advice but since the “thief” wants to reignite the fire, he will play his game.
“My mother told me to stop and you can recall that since then, I haven’t even uttered a word. But as he has released a diss song, the battle line has been drawn.”
