Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are taking turns throwing jabs at each other.
Bola Tinubu told party faithfuls at a campaign rally on Monday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, to ensure they get their Permanent Voters card (PVC) so they can vote in APC to deliver a new era of human capital developments, infrastructure renaissance, and prosperity.
He cautioned those gathered that they will be making a grave mistake if they vote for his opponent of the PDP because according to him, his opponent will sell their palm trees and run off to Dubai.
Tinubu urged the people to jealously guard their PVCs and join the sweeping revolution, which he insists will bring an end to the fuel crisis, and insecurity, and will create a conducive environment for thriving socio-economic activities.
He recalled when Atiku was a vice president under President Olusegun Obasanjo, stating that his opponent was selling off national assets for his personal benefit. He added that Atiku could not be trusted and if given the chance by the people, would sell their palm trees.
