Ghana Forward Kwabena Owusu Reveals Ferencvarosi Ambition After Switching From Qarabag FK

Ghana international Kwabena Owusu has disclosed that it is his aim to aid his new team Ferencvarosi to win the Hungarian league trophy after transferring from Qarabag FK.

On Monday, Owusu joined the Hungarian team after his head earned a winter transfer from the Azerbaijani side. He is on a two-and-a-half-year contract with his new side and is expected to have a huge impact on his team.

Speaking in an interview after his unveiling, Kwabena Owusu said that he has set his sights on winning the Hungarian league and reaching the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

He said that he was very excited to have joined his new side with the support of God and in recent weeks he has taken the time to learn all that he can about Ferencvaros and saw the world champions from over a century ago.

Kwabena Owusu insists that he has gone to Budapest with big ambitions and is proud to be a part of a club with a big tradition.

Owusu has had stints with Leganes, Real Oviedo, and Cartagena in Spain before moving to Azerbaijan.
