President of Bechem United, Kingsley Owusu Achiaw has called on club officials to feature talented players in their squads to enable them to attract fans to their matches.
Most teams in the Ghana Premier League are unable to raise revenue from gate proceeds to support their operations due to the phenomenon of poor match attendance.

It has been reported that the Minister of Sports has held meetings with stakeholders to find means of dousing this phenomenon.
Speaking to Citi Sports on the sidelines of the 47th edition of the SWAG Awards, Owusu Achiaw said that the first thing to do to attach fans is to have quality players in teams because without quality players no one will sacrifice to come to watch a match being played by ordinary players.
He added that there should be a massive investment in football to enable teams to retain excellent footballers to attract supporters.
