Aamir Liaquat Hussain was a Pakistani politician, columnist, television host and comedian who was born on July 5, 1972, in Karachi, Pakistan.

He has been a member of the Pakistani National Assembly since August 2018, having previously served in the National Assembly from 2002 to 2007 and also as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs from 2004 to 2007.

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in 2006 declared the Bachelor of Arts degree in Islamic Studies Liaquat obtained from the Trinity College and University as fake and unrecognized.
