The current Prime Minister of Australia is Scott John Morrison. He was born on 13 May 1968.
He became Prime Minister in August 2018 after he was elected as the Liberal Party of Australia’s leader.
At the University of New South Wales, Scott studied for a bachelor’s degree in economic geography.
He was director of the New Zealand Office of Tourism and Sport from 1998 to 2000. From 2004 till 2006, he served as managing director of Tourism Australia.
He is the younger of two children born to John Douglas Morrison and Marion Morrison. John Morrison, his father, was a policeman who once served as mayor of the Waverley Municipal Council.
