The Berekum Circuit Court in Berekum has granted bail to the 31-year-old defender who was arrested for crushing a police officer to death.
Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams has been granted Gh¢ 60,000 bail with four sureties after reappearing in the Berekum based Circuit Court on Thursday afternoon.

The stalwart centre-back was remanded for two weeks by his Lordship Osei Kofi Amoako earlier this month on the incident which happened on March 1 between Asuotiano and Asuhyiae in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region.
The former Black Stars ‘B’ guardsman has been charged on two counts – careless and inconsiderate driving and negligently causing harm.
The incident described to be a hit-and-run by a Red Toyota Camry with registration number GW 5882-17, driven by Farouk Adams claimed the life of Constable Amos Mattey of the Wamfie Police station.
