Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Slavko Matic had only kind words to express the level of performance of their match week 18 league opponent Aduana Stars.
He is of the opinion that Aduana Stars deserve all three points they earned at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Serbian coach, however, bemoaned his side’s lack of killer instinct in front of the goal during the match.
Accra Hearts of Oak was beaten by Aduana Stars 2-0 on Sunday afternoon with Isaac Mintah scoring twice for the visitors.
Slavko Matic insists his team did not play well and was not aggressive throughout the match while the reverse is true for their opponents.
He revealed that he spoke to the players about being punished by their opponents if they don’t take their chances and it was exactly that when Suraj missed a chance and the opposition went on to score at the other end almost immediately.
