AFCON 2021: Black Stars To Leave Ghana Tomorrow For Pre-Tournament Camping

The Black Stars will leave Ghana to head to Doha on Friday, to begin their pre-AFCON preparations prior to the tournament that will take place in January.

The local players will depart along with their technical staff on the Friday. They will join foreign players from Qatar.

Captain Andre Ayew, who is based in Qatar, will be meeting the team in Qatar as the preparations begin for the tournament.

Ghana will host a series of friendly matches, including a match against African champions Algeria.

Coach Milovan Rajevac announced a 30-man provisional team on Tuesday.

The four-time African champions are chasing their 5th AFCON title, after winning the last trophy in 1982.

Ghana is in Group C along with Morocco, Comoros Island, and Gabon.

The team will play Morocco in their first game on January 10 before they play Gabon and Comoros Island in subsequent games.
