Ace media personality and founder of Vim Foundation, Afia Pokuaa, also known as Vim Lady, has donated desks to struggling schools in the Northern and Savannah regions.
One of the media gurus who advocate for proper education for rural communities is Afia Pokuaa. She has been able to build a 6-block classroom at Kumasi-Amenam School in the Ashanti Region. She has also renovated some buildings in the Eastern Region.
In 2019, Vim Lady and her volunteers from her foundation journeyed from Accra to Kwahu to paint 12 schools in different districts in the Kwahu township.
In a new development, Vim Lady has once again contributed her quota to the development of the country by journeying from Accra to the Northern and Savannah regions to donate desks to school children who use building blocks and other objects as seats. Afia Pokuaa paid a visit to the Yoriyie Basic school in the Sawla Tuna Kalba District to provide desks to ease their struggling.
Afia has taken to her page to share photos of the school children she donated the desks to and also urged everyone to join hands to fix the country.
She wrote, “We just don’t sit in Accra. We go to where the need is and we help. That is how we all can help FIX GHANA while chasing our leaders to do the needful.
