Afia Pokuaa also called Vim Lady has taken to social media to shade Shatta Wale and his colleagues who are always biting each other by comparing their work with Nigerian musicians such as Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Burna Boy.
Afia Pokuaa posted a mysterious post following the arrest of Shatta Wale by shading the dancehall artist and his colleagues, claiming that Ghana entertainment is all about beef and fake stories. She compares them to the top celebrities in Nigeria.
According to Vim Lady, Wizkid appears to be topping the charts alongside Justine Bieber and Tiwa Savage is ablaze with Brandy in addition to the fact that Burna Boy is filling the O2 Arena while Davido gets interviewed by Trevor Noah, but as for Ghana, it’s all about beefs, and false stories.
Afia Pokuaa has then said the Ghana entertainment industry could employ over one million individuals if it is taken seriously, but there is no way to take it seriously in this country, and she urged us to be praying for Ghana’s entertainment business in Ghana.
Vim Lady didn’t mention Shatta Wale’s name when she wrote her tweet, however we believe she’s reacting to his arrest because he’s the one who enjoys beef in the industry, and although some people spread fake news however, he took his story to the extreme and resulted in a disastrous outcome for him.
Afia Pokuaa is on the right track in her assessment of Ghana entertainment. The only thing we hear as fake news or beefs, while they are making the same mistakes that their peers in Nigeria are producing, and they’re always complaining about and accusing us netizens of not being supportive of them. They forget that they need to do their best to be able to recognize and support them.
