Afriyie Barnieh Shows Gratitude To Maxwell Konadu Ahead Of Trip To Switzerland To Begin FC Zurich Spell

Former Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is expected to travel to Switzerland to begin his European football career with Belgium Super League giants FC Zurich before the end of this week.

The forward is currently saying his goodbyes to now former teams and people he deems as having contributed towards his career development up to this point.

He was in the stands to watch his former side Accra Heart of Oak play out a goalless draw against Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League.

Afriyie Barnieh was seen in the dressing room of Legon Cities post-match where he showed appreciation to the former Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu for the part he played in his development.

He told his former boss that he was delighted to have met him once again and that he will always to indebted to him.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh before joining the Black Galaxies in Algeria for the 2022 CHAN tournament signed a contract with FC Zurich.
