Ajax Midfielder Mohammed Kudus Begins Personal Training After Injury Scare

Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has started individual training after suffering a knock to his ankle in the pre-season friendly against Anderlecht.

The Ghana international missed the game against Bayern Munich but has started training as he begins his recovery.

The 20-year-old is currently with the Ajax team in Austria, where preparations continue for the start of the new Eredivisie season.

Kudus started preparations in superb style, scoring in back to back friendlies against Quick 20 and FC Paderborn.

He is expected to recover in time for the start of the new season.

His return to training is good news for manager Erik Ten Haag, who needs the youngster for the new season.

Last season, Kudus won the league and cup double and was voted the best U-21 player in the Dutch Eredivisie.

He joined the 34 times champions from FC Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2020.
