Once bitten, twice shy has refused to be a worn-out cliche— Akuapem Poloo has learned her lessons so she has gone all decent and beautiful today as she celebrates her son’s birthday.
The mother of one says she is excited for today as her baby boy turns a year old. Taking to her Instagram page, she shared lovely photos to celebrate the day.
Poloo says she cannot believe she made it this far, with all the struggles and pains she has passed through in the past few months.

Poloo says she has realized she cannot get to the age that she is now without making smart decisions and thinking things through before they are executed.
Part of her birthday message reads;
“It’s truly a wonder I made it this far, all the pains and shame I’ve been through, the struggles and public ridicules which almost ended me in jail because of a picture I’ wouldn’t be here to witness my king’s birthday father lord on this special day I pray you to restore into his life everything he has lost over past months. My heart is full of nothing but gratitude and I’m blessed to witness this day my king @sonof_poloo may you live long.”
Poloo surprised her super boy with a cake while he was still sleeping and the smiles on his face is just priceless.

Last year, Poloo went over the bar for her birthday photo shoot with her son where she knelt nekkid in front of him. The photo landed her in trouble with Child’s Right International as her actions were tantamount to child abuse.
