The bassist and a founding member of the iconic rock band Bon Jovi, Alec John Such, has passed away at the age of 70.
Such was introduced to Jon Bon Jovi in the early 1980s when he was working for a New Jersey music venue, according to the magazine Variety.
The two musicians were said to have got together after the singer performed at the ballroom as the musical act Jon Bon Jovi & The Wild Ones.
The pair eventually teamed up along with three other buddies to form their own group, which eventually became the Grammy Award-winning band Bon Jovi.
Such quit the group in 1994 when he began to get burned out.
In addition to playing on stage, the bassist also worked behind-the-scenes and also managed numerous acts over the course of his career.
