Alexander Stanislavovich “Sasha” Bublik was born on 17 June 1997 in Gatchina, Russia.
He is a Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player.
In February 2022 the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) ranked him as high as world number 30 in singles. He is the current Kazakhstani number 1 tennis player in singles, while in doubles he reached his career-high ranking of world number 47 on 8 November 2021.
Bublik began playing tennis at the stage of four and was coached by his father, Stanislav.
He won a total of eleven titles, both singles, and doubles, on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior circuit.
Bublik announced his switch of sporting allegiance from his home country Russia to Kazakhstan in November 2016 revealing that the Kazakhstani Tennis Federation offered him help the Russian Tennis Federation refused.
Since he turned professional in 2016, he has won one ATP Tour singles title.
Bublik lives in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
