Alison Riske-Amritraj was born on 3 July 1990 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She is an American professional tennis player who on 4 November 2019 reached her career-high singles ranking of world No.18. Her first WTA Tour title was won at the Tianjin Open in October 2014.
Riske-Amritraj has three WTA singles titles under her belt. She also has nine singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit.
She won the singles championship during the Pennsylvania State championship when she was in Peters Township High School.
Alison turned professional in 2009 and is coached by Yves Boulais, Billy Heiser, and Thomas Gutteridge.
She was introduced to the game of tennis by her father at the age of three after he took her out to hit.
Riske-Amritraj is married and has the support of her husband.
