Amerie Jo Garza is one of the 19 victims of a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. She was born on 10 May 2012.
Amerie was in the fourth grade at the time of her untimely death. She was sat next to her best friend while trying to call 911 before she was shot dead.
Hours before her unfortunate death, she spent time celebrating her appointment to the honor roll.
Jo Garza is said to be a very social being that was full of life and was always smiling. Her favorite pastime was playing Play-Doh and spending time with her friends.
According to her grandmother, Amerie was a teacher’s pet and had a very generous heart.
