Some French sports news outlets have tipped Ghana Captain Andre Ayew, also known as Dede Ayew, who will be a free agent on June 30 to reunite with boyhood club Marseille.
Andre Ayew and Swansea City agreed to part ways after the club’s failure to secure Premier League promotion.
On Friday, June 4, Swansea City announced that Ayew will not be retained as he is free to join any club of his choice.
The Ghanain international footballer has been contacted by a host of top-flight clubs but in France, some people want Andre Ayew back in the French Ligue 1.
Before his departure to the English Premier League in 2015, Ayew spent five successful years with the first team of Marseille.
During the 31-year-old footballer’s time in France, he had 85 goal contributions (60 goals and 25 assists) in 209 appearances.
