Andrey Andreyevich Rublev was born on 20 October 1997 in Moscow, Russia.
He is a Russian professional tennis player who in September 2021 was ranked by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) as high as world number 5 in singles while in the doubles he was ranked as high as world number 58 on 18 October 2021.
Rublev has 11 ATP Tour singles titles under his belt and is an Olympic gold medal winner in mixed doubles with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
As a junior, Andrey won the 2014 French Open singles title. Rublev won a bronze medal in singles and silver in doubles at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China.
He turned professional in 2014 and is currently being coached by Fernando Vicente.
