The body of late American actress, Anne Heche is said to be laid to rest in the famous Hollywood cemetery among her peers according to her sons.
The actress passed away last month at the age of 53 after suffering severe injuries in a car accident in which the car she was riding in slammed into a house and caught fire.
As a result of the accident, Heche sustained a severe anoxic brain injury and never recovered consciousness while being treated in a hospital.
After she was allegedly cremated on August 18, her sons Homer Laffoon, 20, and Atlas Heche Tupper, 13, announced that their mother would be buried at Hollywood Forever cemetery “among her peers.”
“My brother Atlas and I want to thank Tyler, Noelle and all the amazing people at Hollywood Forever for their kindness, compassion and generosity of spirit. We are convinced our Mom would love the site we have chosen for her; it’s beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers.”
“Most importantly, Hollywood Forever is a living place, where people attend movies and concerts and other events. She was our Mom, but the kindness and the outpouring of the past few days reminded us that she also belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community, and now, to the ages,” Laffoon said in a statement via PA.
