Coach of the Black Galaxies Annor Walker has revealed how he motivated his playing body to hand Sudan a defeat in the Championship for African Nations (CHAN) ongoing in Algeria.
The team known as the local Black Stars came from behind to deal Sudan a defeat in the second group C match at the tournament.
Ghana’s chances of progressing to the knockout phase of the competition got a boost with a 3-1 win over Sudan.
Sudan went ahead in the match on the half-hour mark through Hussein Mohammed but goals from Konadu Yiadom, Afriyie Barnieh, and Suraj Seidu were enough for Ghana to earn a win.
According to coach Annor Walker, he had to psyche up his lads after they conceded the first goal in the match.
He expressed his delight at securing the win, which he dedicated to the team and all Ghanaians. He thanked Ghanaians for their support of the team.
