Anouk Vetter was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on February 4, 1993. Anouk was introduced to sports when she was very young.
Her mother, Gerda Vetter-Blokziel, won the Dutch javelin championship twice, and her father, Ronald Vetter, has been a longtime athletics coach. She remembers playing on the high jump mat while running around the track as a child between the ages of four and five.
