The Unification champion, Anthony Joshua has reportedly begun training ahead of his fight with the ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury.
According to his promoter, Eddie Hearn who spoke with reporters about the current state of the proposed match between Joshua and Fury, he revealed that the heavyweight champion has fully begun active training.
He is currently training at his old amateur club Finchley ABC and will soon link up with head trainer Rob McCracken at Sheffield. Eddie hammered on the venue and stated emphatically that the fight is slated to happen in July.
We can’t wait. AJ has started his training camp and Fury has been training very hard. They all want the fight. They are going to be presented with a few proposals on where to do the fight and everyone has to agree on where to do it.
There is no other fight out there that comes close for either guy. July is the date…Really I think end of next week it will be done. Talks have progressed extremely well and we’re closing in on securing the venue and there will be an announcement in due course.
We’re at the stage where it’s probably best not to say much more than that.
Fury on the other hand is not leaving any stone unturned as he was spotted in a new photo looking a bit ripped and healthier than before. Recall he was trolled on social media weeks ago when he shared a video of himself looking out of shape.
