The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, have both been described as the old system which represents ‘darkness’ by Babachir Lawal, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation
The former SGF was speaking on Friday on The Verdict show which airs on Channels Television, where he said that he left the darkness because he has seen the light.
He revealed that after realizing that Peter Obi was the light, he dumped the APC to support the Labour Party’s (LP) flagbearer.
Lawal explained that one can repent when they see the light and he has seen the light and repented. That light he says is Peter Obi whereas the old system that used to govern the nation is the darkness that the APC and PDP represent.
He added that is it the same people, same agbada, same red caps, so he is not the only one who has seen the light but Nigerians too,
Lawal concluded that President Muhammadu Buhari did not live up to expectations and had failed because it did not function properly.
