Ari Naftali Melber was born on 31 March 1980 in Seattle, Washington.
He is an American attorney and journalist.
Melber is the chief legal correspondent for MSNBC and is also the anchor of The Beat with Air Melber.
For his high school education, he attended Garfield High School in Seattle and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at the University of Michigan.
Melber after graduating college immediately relocated to Washington D.C where he worked for Senator Maria Cantwell. His Juris Doctor degree was earned from Cornell Law School; while at Cornell Law School he was an editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Melber is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
He is an Emmy Award winner; he was honored for his coverage of the Supreme Court.
