He is an American DJ, record executive, author, and record producer.
Khaled enjoyed a lot of support from his parents when he began showing interest in rap and soul music. For his high school education, Khaled attended Dr. Phillips High School in Florida. He worked for some time in a Merry-Go-Round record store which contributed immensely to his musical journey.
Khalid’s job in the media was with a pirate radio before moving to 99 Jamz where he hosted The Takeover, a weeknight radio show.
He then became the official DJ for the hip-hop group the Terror Squad.
