Asamoah Gyan Paid For My Knee Surgery 7 Years Ago – Stonebwoy Shows Gratitude

Ghanaian music and dancehall star Livingstone Etse Satekla, known widely in entertainment circles as Stonebwoy has recalled how former Ghana international striker Asamoah Gyan, finance his knee surgery seven years back.

He stated that the benevolence of Asamoah Gyan is something he appreciates and will be eternally grateful for.

The dancehall superstar was involved in a vehicular accident on the Accra-Tema motorway in 2003, which accident took the life of his twin brother and left him with a broken knee which it difficult for him to walk.

However in 2016, a few months after he lost his mother, he to the relief of many fans and admirers underwent a successful surgery on his knee in Germany.

The surgery now that it has come to light, would not have been possible without the kind gesture of Asamoah Gyan.

On the seventh anniversary of the surgery which falls on 26 January, Stonebwoy took to Twitter to express his profound gratitude to Gyan.

Asamoah upon seeing the post was in disbelief as to how fast time had run and expressed his delight to have been in a position to assist Stonebwoy.

The former Black Stars captain added that he acted from the depths of his heart.
