Kumasi based Asante Kotoko Supporting Club Limited has beaten their counterpart Bechem United four goals to nothing in their First Capital Plus Ghana Premier League outstanding match moving the club to the 3rd position on the league table.
The club earlier announced that their new Portuguese head coach who is also the former coach of the senior national team the Black Stars, Mariano Barreto will sit on the bench for the first time after acquiring his work permit from the Ghana Immigration Service.
In the match, Abdul Gayinu opened the scores for the Porcupine Warriors in just 12 minutes off play. The inform Brazilian midfield sensational Fabio Gama doubled the lead of Kotoko in just 3 minutes before the break.
Newly signed striker from Division One club UniStar Academy, Francis Kumi added his name to the tally on the 63rd minute with a brilliant debut goal since joining the club after the departure of the club’s leading striker Kwame Opoku couple of weeks ago.

On his colleagues registering their first goals for the club, Gama stated this will boost the morale as new players especially his fellow country man Vinicius who is yet to settle in the premier league.
This will move Asante Kotoko 3rd on the league log trailing 2nd place Karela United with one point and league leaders Accra Great Olympics with just two points.
