Ashanti Businessmen Confess Their Businesses Boomed Under My Reign – John Mahama Discloses

The 2020 Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has said that some Ashanti Businessmen in the region have confessed that their business was booming while he was President.

The former President speaking to some supporters of the NDC in Kumasi stated that some businessmen in the region who voted against the NDC have changed their minds and would want to vote for the NDC because their business was doing well under Mahama.

“Yesterday, from Ejura we met some businesspeople who disclosed that their businesses were booming during Prof Mills and my era. They told me they voted against me and currently they have a change of mind because their businesses are not yielding well as compared to my tenure.

“They are currently being chased by Internal Revenue and EOCO. They said we will try you this time because we believe the NDC can liberate Ghanaians”.

Meanwhile Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has been taken back to the police custody after taking ill when he was denied bail on Monday 13th September 2021.
