She’s also a Grand Slam doubles champion, winning in the year 2018 US Open with CoCo Vandeweghe. Barty was the winner of 15 singles titles as well as 12 doubles title during the WTA Tour.

Barty was born on April 24, 1997 in Ipswich, Queensland to Josie Barty and Robert Barty. Her father was raised in the remote North Queensland town of Bowen, which was where he worked as an official of the Queensland as well as an Australian representative in golf. He later worked for the State Library of Queensland.

Her mother is the daughter of English immigrants. She served as the governor of Queensland playing golf in her youth, and began her career in radiography after she retired from golf.
