Atlanta rapper, Trouble, has died at the age of 34. His label Def Jam announced the news in a statement while paying tribute to him.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the children, loved ones, and fans of Trouble…A true voice for his city and an inspiration to the community he proudly represented. RIP Skoob🙏🏾.”
Though the cause of his death has since not been revealed, Variety Reports say the musicians died after a fatal shooting incident in Atlanta last Saturday night.
Trouble whose real name is Mariel Semonte Orr started rapping at the get of 14 and went on to release his first album dubbed Edgewood in 2018 featuring international sensations like Drake Quawo and Weeknd.
Though he had released several mixtapes before his debut album, his most popular song is Bring It Back with Drake and Mike WILL, racking up about 18 million views on YouTube.
Since his death, Trouble has received tributes from top pop artists, including Meek Mill and Gucci Mane.
