Ayanda Thabethe Puts Duduzane Zuma In His Place

South African actress Ayanda Thabethe has called out businessman and politician Duduzane Zuma for telling lies about his path to success in a recent interview.

Taking to her social media account Ayanda expressed her frustrations over Dudu not admitting to having been helped as a result of who he is and who he knows.

Ayanda Thabethe feels that the businessman needs to own up to the assistance he had as a result of his name. Denying having been helped because he is a Zuma, Ayanda feels is untrue.

After listening to Duduzane’s interview with Kaya FM presenter Sizwe Dhlomo on Wednesday, Ayanda took to her social media account to share her thoughts.

“I think Duduzane shouldn’t deny the fact that he used his parent(s) connections to get ahead because there is nothing wrong with that. For which purposes he used those connections and to whose cost is the answer that he owes South Africans … #KayaDrive,” Ayanda wrote.

In other news, Ayanda recently revealed the hardest thing she has ever done is to choose who to settle down with, but even doing so she got it wrong the first time. The actress revealed she has resigned from threading to that path again because it is scary.

It looks like she has given up on love after she joking said she is willing to settle down with herself.

The TV presenter was previously married to Andile Ncube, however, their marriage ended. The two kept the reason behind their divorce private but in an interview on Fresh Breakfast, Ayanda said it was an amicable breakup:

“I think that it is growth. It’s understanding that it’s okay when things don’t work out. And it’s also spilling yourself and everything that you have into something. And when it doesn’t work because you’ve given everything that you had, you don’t have any regrets about it. You don’t have any “what if’s” or whatever. So when you move on, it’s completely over and you wish the other person the best,” she explained.
