Crystal Palace podcaster Dan Cook believes Andre and Jordan Ayew can work wonders for the club should a move by the latter is sealed.
Andre Ayew is currently without a club after leaving Swansea City at the expiration of his contract.
He was instrumental for the side last season scoring 17 goals in all competitions and has become a subject of interest for several clubs including Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.
According to reports, Crystal Palace have opened talks with the Ghana captain agent for a potential move.
Speaking on the HLTCO podcast, Dan Cook indicated Andre Ayew has what it takes to play in the Premier League and said playing together with Jordan Ayew can work wonders for the club.
“Another player that is being heavily linked with a move to Crystal Palace is Jordan Ayew’s older brother, Andre. He has, of course, been on the books at Swansea City over the last couple of years and has done relatively well, I believe he scored 15 or 16 goals for them in the Championship in back-to-back seasons.
“Of course, the Championship isn’t the same in terms of its competitiveness as the Premier League. He is well-versed in what it takes to be a Premier League footballer.
“If you factor in the emotional connection of Andre and Jordan being together at Crystal Palace, it may well work wonders for us.” He said.
