Former Black Stars player Rahim Ayew has revealed that the A yew brothers are unbothered by the criticism from Ghanaians after the AFCON.
The Ayew brothers have been criticized heavily after the Black Stars early exit at the 2021 African cup of nations in Cameroon.
The West African powerhouse eliminated from the tournament at group stages after getting only a point from their 3 games in group c.
They lost their opening game by 1-0 to Morocco, draw 1-1 to Gabon, and lost 3-2 to Comoros.
After this, some Ghanaians criticized only the Ayew Brothers, with some saying the team doesn’t belong to their father Abedi Pele, whilst some even went overboard by accusing Andre Ayew of using “Juju.”
Later, reports went viral that the Ayew Brother have decided not to play for Ghana again as they have quit the Black Stars.
However, their spokesperson Fiifi Tackie came out and debunked the rumours, saying committed Ayew Brothers have not quit the Black Stars.
Well, Rahim Ayew, who played for Ghana at the 2010 World Cup, says his sibling are committed to the Black Stars course, as they are not bothered by the criticism.
“Trust me, personally, if I tell you I watch TV then I am lying. We are not bothered with what is going on at all.
“Why should we be bothered? Sometimes you look at the person criticizing you and your life, there is a big difference, so why should we waste our time on such a person.
“You can try and take us from Ghana football, but the name will still remain for years. What God has written, no man can take away. We have children, the name Ayew will still be there,” he told Adom TV.
